“When a person comes into the Masjid, he should busy himself in worship. The commandment of Iqaamah before Salaah indicates that one should busy himself in worship once he comes into the Masjid, otherwise why would there be a need for Iqaamah? Everyone could have been told to look for the Imam and when he comes start the prayer. It is unfortunate that even people sitting in the first row remain busy looking at the clock and turning their heads back in anticipation of the Imam.
What a beautiful way the Sharee’ah has instructed by teaching us that a person’s du’aa is accepted between Adhaan and Iqaamah. chanel handbags Now one can be in the Masjid out of sight in the corner, busy in devotion to Allah and does not have to worry and divide his attention for he will be informed of the start of Salaah by the Iqaamah.”
